Black residue on mixing attachments

The beaters were fine and shiney for the first few weeks but then started turning black and it would get on everything..and was hard to wash off. I have to scrub them both befor and after using them. Is there a solution for this problem? Jenair hasnt been any help and I cant get them to tell me if there is a stainless steel replacement for these crapy aluminum beaters
