Kitchenaid mixer races when turned on

10 speed professional mixer by kitchenaid. When it is turned on to any speed, it races until something times it out and shutsoff. A few seconds later the smae will happen when turned on again. I have blown hot air using a hair drier into the electric module after taking the head casing/chasis off. It repairs it but then iut comes back again for no apparent reason. It also goes away on it own and works fines for no apparent reason.
