Guide :Food Mixers : DSM7 Stand Mixer

Electrolux Assistent I don't have a DeLonghi DSM7, but I do have an Electrolux AKM 5125, Type: N26. Saturday I made a double batch of chocolate chip cookie batter (without the chips included) in the white plastic bowl with the double beaters attached. I was using around 6 cups of white flour and and 4 cups of white & brown sugar, so the dough wasn't heavy as if I was using whole wheat flour. When I added the last of the flour, the machine seemed to be straining, so I let the flour mix in and I turned off the machine. The next day, I had one more batch of cookies to make and placed a cup of really, really soft butter into the bowl for it to beat. For the first minute everything was ok, then the double beaters decided to just stop rotating. The motor goes, but the main drive socket won't rotate. The drive socket located on the side of the machine (for the blender, etc) rotates just fine. I have had the machine for a little under 2 years. [email protected]
