Guide :Food Mixers : KSM90 Ultra Power Series Stand Mixer

Oil leaking I have have my Kitchenaid stand mixer for about 6 years. I am happy to say that all has gone well up to now. Let me tell you here that i take excellant care of my Kitchenaid mixer because i waited until i was in my 40's to get one.  :) I was getting ready to use my machine when i notice oil coming down the paddle. I of course had not even started the machine up. I tilted the machine head in the up position to have a look. Yes! it was oil. This had never happened before. I did use the machine. YES i did. I needed it and i had to take a chance. I have used it a few times over the last few mths and on occassion i find small amounts of oil on my finger. I of course check the machine all the time. Here is the problem, (1) i need to have the schematic of this machine before any opening of it can be done. (2) I called Kitchenaid to try and find a repair person in my area. Well i was shocked to find out that i would have to drive three hours to have my machine even looked at. Then drive 3 hours home and wait for them to tell me how much the repair woould cost only to drive back again, you can see the problem here. So i would also like to know if there are any repair persons in the Detriot Michgan area. I live in Canada but Detriot is a lot closer. I sure hope you can help. Wishing you a happy Holiday And happy New Year Heatehr
